The invention consists of a rod with measuring pins provided with an adjustable spirit level thus making it possible to measure the extent of frame and body damage on cars without it being necessary for the car to stand level as is necessary when using known measuring arrangements for the same purpose. Further advantages are obtained by virtue of the fact that a measuring arrangement with this capacity is in the form of a handtool which has a length of roughly 1 metre and a weight of roughly 10 kg and is therefore convenient to use in the workshop and to take along for measuring out of the workshop, in contrast to known measuring arrangements which are fixed installations to which the vehicle concerned has to be driven. |
