With lower movable plate in a position where the bottom of the rods is supported, the electrodes are held in a position above the blades. After carrying out welding, the plate is moved to that its blades coincide with those of frame thereby causing rods to fall and with them the electrode support. This then leaves the blades above the level of the blades ready for stamping. ADVANTAGE - Enables various shapes and types of sheet to be worked without producing irregularities in the welding.
