<p>The invention relates to a method for collecting office refuse products, consists in separating the refuse products according to type, storing the separated refuse products in separate containers in an item of office furniture, and taking sufficiently filled containers out of the item of furniture and placing them in separate collection containers. The invention furthermore relates to an item of office furniture for use with a method of this nature. This item of office furniture may be provided with a cabinet-style body, and the refuse containers may be formed by at least one drawer which is held in the cabinet body and can be displaced between a retracted position and an extended position which is determined by engagement between blocking means which are arranged on the cabinet body and the drawer. The item of furniture may comprise means for disengaging at least some of the blocking means in the extended position.</p> |
