The measurement device contains two measurement arms (4,5) whose angles wrt. a reference line (6) are independently electrically measurable. The total angle is determined by adding or subtracting the individual angles and the result is displayed (7). The reference line can be the connecting line between axes (A,B). The distance between the axes can be varied. The angles are measured by passive or active transducers arranged on or coaxial to the axes.
