Separation device for stacked printing sheets for copier machine - uses lifting tool with suction feet incorporated in flexible suction plate with upwards curved side edges

The separation device removes the top sheet from a stack using a lifting tool having a number of suction feet (5) in the same format as the printing sheets. The suction feet which cooperate with the edge of the printing sheet and those cooperating with the centre of the sheet are relatively height adjustable w.r.t. the common suction plane. Pref. the suction feet (5) are contained in a flexible suction plate (4) which can be curved upwards at 2 opposing edges, to lift the suction feet cooperating with the sheet edge relative to those cooperating with the sheet centre. ADVANTAGE - Reliable removal of single sheet from top of printing sheet stack.
