<p>This consists of a set of spans joined together by one or more peduncles which allows them to be positioned straight, curved or in "S" form (fig. 3). The flaps (fig. 3 B) which can be adhesive, permit fixing to the skin. The support can also be made in cap form (fig. 1) with flaps B for fixing and perforations C for aeration. The main purpose of the protection is to prevent rough contact which could damage the wound, and rubbing against clothing or bedclothes. The support also makes it possible to hold medication or dressings in place. The main feature of the invention is to protect wounds from blows, contain medication and make it possible to observe healing progress even without removing the protection, which can have various forms and dimensions, provided that it only adheres to the sides of the wound, its central part being raised. <IMAGE></p> |
