Described is a pharmaceutical composition for the non-topical treatment of wounds, scars and keloids, the composition containing cross-linked glycosamine glycans and the usual pharmaceutical auxiliaries and/or carriers. The pharmaceutical composition is preferably applied intralesionally, e.g. by injection, in the form of a water-containing gel. The cross-glinked glycosamine glycans described are also suitable for use in cosmetics and skin-care agents.
