The arm is used to support bulky workpieces and has holes (19, 21) permitting convenient through drilling of the workpiece. It has a connector bracket (1) with a projecting piece (2) which fits over the edge (23) of the drilling table (22) to form a flush surface between the table and the extension arm. The connector bracket is clamped in position on the drilling table by a bottom clamping block and screw (4, 5). Lugs (7, 8) on the bracket and (18) on the extension arm form in conjunction with a pin (10) a hinge about which the arm can swing in the horizontal plane. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, low-cost extension arm for drilling machine table is easy to fit and use.
