Described is an air-conditioning system for rooms, in particular offices, characterized by the combination of a thermally active ceiling (2), in which the pipes (3) of a heat-exchange-fluid circuit are located. Integrated or integratable in this circuit is at least one heat-exchanger in which at least part of the heat absorbed by the heat-exchange fluid in the pipes in the thermally active ceiling is released into the surrounding air by evaporation of a second fluid.
