<p>Apparatus for dispensing a mixture of two components comprises a dispenser device (74, 152) formed with a first passageway (77, 116, 118, or 238, 241) connected to a source (70) of a Component A material, and a second passageway (75, 90, 92, 146, or 214, 207, 217) connected to a source (72) of a Component B material, both of which are connected to a static mixer (121, 121a) where the components are combined to form a mixture. The dispenser (74, 152) includes structure (122, 122a) for purging the mixture of Component A and B from areas of the dispenser (74, 152) which come into contact therewith, and a check valve (215) operative to create a suction within the dispenser (152) and static mixer (121a) to prevent leakage of the mixture from the static mixer (121a) when flow of the components is interrupted.</p> |
