The invention concerns a poultry feed which comprises a natural lignocellulose-containing material, such as oat husks, wheat husks, barley husks, hay and/or straw, and 0.001 to 1% by weight of an enzyme preparation which improves the digestibility of the natural lignocellulose- containing material. The invention also concerns a feeding method for improving the utilization of a feed comprising a natural lignocellulsoe-containing material, and a method for improving the digestibility of the said feed. In these methods, the enzyme or enzyme mixture improving the digestibility of the lignocellulose- containing material is added to the feed at a rate of 0.001 to 1% by weight. |
