The assembly to load bobbins to a cable twister is an angled rigid unit with running rollers as a loading ramp and swing supports pivoting on floor mountings. The swing supports (4) have a length so that, during loading, they form a bridge structure between the floor level and the rotor, with support at the rotor directly at the sleeves (14). The loading ramp (2) on the swing supports (4) is connected by a drive within the twisting cage (7) with the mounting pillars. USE/ADVANTAGE - The mechanism is for automatic loading of bobbins at a cable twisting machine. It gives a loading movement in an upwards angled direction in an assembly which does not need a strengthered foundation, and can be located close to the cable twister. The bridge structure of the swing supports gives accurate positioning and an automatic loading action.
