Measurement system for testing and observation of patterns of commutating currents in universal electric motors, containing an oscilloscope, characterized in that it contains a driving motor (1) with a power greater than the power of the tested electric motor (2), powered by the circuit of an inverter (3), where the driving motor (1) is connected via a coupling (5), fixed-ratio transmission (6) and flexible coupling (6') to the rotor (7) of the tested electric motor (2), whose windings are connected via a small flexible coupling (14) and a mercury collector (15) to a measurement apparatus containing an oscilloscope (16) with an external release circuit (17), while the rotor (7) of the tested electric motor (2) is supported on a bearing in a measurement frame (8) which contains an adjustable brush-holder unit (24) and an adjustable rotating disc (25) to which is fastened the stator (28) of the tested electric motor (2).<IMAGE>
