The applicator device for multicomponent plastics, in particular polyurethane, onto a continuous cover layer, preferably in a double belt system, has a portal which extends over the cover layer and transversely to the direction of movement. A mixing head (11) having at least two discharge nozzles (12 to 14) can be moved back and forth on the portal. When the lifetime of one discharge nozzle has expired due to encrustation with the reaction mixture, the next discharge nozzle comes into use without interruption of the mixing operation (zero overlap). This ensures that the production process does not have to be interrupted over a long period, for example a shift, and that an even, uniform product is produced over the entire production time. It is possible in principle in order to switch over to move the mixing head (11) relative to the discharge nozzles (12 to 14) or vice versa the discharge nozzles relative to the mixing head. |
