<p>Seat backrest, particularly for a motor vehicle rear seat, of the type including a backrest framework (1, 2) and at least one support cushion (3) for the occupant's back. The said cushion has a removable framework (10) which is independent of the said backrest framework (1, 2) and is combined with means allowing it to be pivoted about a horizontal spindle (11) with respect to the said backrest framework (1, 2), it being possible for the latter to be stationary.
