PURPOSE:To obtain an optical recorder/reproducer having simplified constitution and additionally provided with verify function. CONSTITUTION:A light beam LA1 from a light source is introduced to a beam splitter 10 in a rotary drum 8 where it is branched to two subbeams which finally advance on optical paths, shifted by 180 deg. from each other, and focused on an optical tape 15. When one light beam LA2 is used for recording data, the other light beam LA3 is used for verification. A photodetector 22 detects reproduced data at the time of reproduction and verification. |
