PURPOSE:To prevent toner leaking or toner clogging due to carrying operation of the toner by locking a toner carrying screw so as to stop its rotating before the toner replenishing cartridge is set to the device main body, after it is unloaded, or in loading or unloading. CONSTITUTION:Because a lock lever part 31 is not pushed up in the direction of the arrow F by a lock lever pushing up part 35 before the toner replenishing cartridge is loaded to the device main body or after it is unloaded, the lock lever part 31 is rotated in the direction of the arrow E with a rotational shaft, 32 as the center by energizing force of a spring 34. Thus, the rotation of the toner carrying screw 23 is locked by a projection 30 fixed to a lock lever part 31 being engaged to a chamfer 29 of a restraining plate 28 which is integrated with a screw driving gear 27. When the toner replenishing cartridge is loaded to the main body, the lock lever part 31 is pushed up in the direction of the arrow F by the lock lever pushing up part 35 and the locked state is released by the projection 30 of the lock lever part 31 being disengaged from the chamfer 29 of the retraining plate 28. |
