PURPOSE:To secure a space for housing residue and to simplify the carrying path of the residue to a storage part by arranging the storage part of the residue exhausted by a cleaning means near the outside wall of the housing of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:In the cleaning device of the image forming device, the storage part 10 which can be taken out or in and carrying means 11 and 65 which carry the residue removed from the surface of a photosensitive body toward the storage part 10 are provided near the outside wall 13 constituting the housing of the image forming device. Besides, the storage part 10 is disposed near the outside of the wall 13 so that it can be opened and closed with respect to the device. The discharge port 12 of the carrying path of the carrying means 11 and 65 which is linearly extended is passed through the wall 13 and extended to the storage part 10. Besides, the storage part 10 is disposed near the inside of the wall 13 so that at least one side surface thereof constitutes one part of the wall 13. Moreover, the port 12 of the carrying path of the carrying means 11 and 65 which is linearly extended is prolonged to the storage part 10. |
