PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic sensor which can measure strength of magnetic field accurately at a low cost and easily by performing temperature compensation fully even if a surrounding temperature changes. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic sensor 1 has a line constituting a pattern of a magnetoresistance element R1 whose line width is 50mum or less and at the same time consists of the same ferromagnetic metal as the magnetoresistance element R1 and then has a temperature compensation circuit R2 which is as wide as 6mum and is narrower than the line constituting the pattern of the magnetoresistance element R1 constituting the pattern. Therefore, a constantly accurate temperature compensation can be made since the temperature compensation circuit R2 is not affected nearly at all by scattering o an etching process, etc., in a manufacturing process. |
