PURPOSE:To obtain a camera capable of eliminating an indiscriminate jiggle countermeasure, and attaining a proper jiggle countermeasure in accordance with a photographer and a photographing state by providing a specific vibration detecting means, calculating means, and photometry means. CONSTITUTION:The vibration of the camera is detected by a vibration detecting device 1, and jiggle limiting shutter speed is calculated, based on an electric signal from the device 1 in a computing element 2, to send a signal to a comparator 4. On the other hand, previously set shutter speed from a shutter speed setting means 3 is inputted to the comparator 4 as the electric signal. In the comparator 4, the jiggle limiting shutter speed from the computing element 2 is compared with the previously set shutter speed from the means 3, so that when the the set shutter speed is slower than the limiting shutter speed, the signal is outputted to a jiggle countermeasure means 5. The means 5 executes the jiggle countermeasure to a warning display means, a warning sound generating means, a shutter locking means, etc. Thus, only when a jiggle phenomenon surely occurs, the jiggle countermeasure is executed, and the number of chances to take a photograph without being jiggled, is increased. |
