摘要 |
PURPOSE:To form a polymer liquid crystal uniformly on the whole surface of a liquid crystal panel and aligning a light shielding layer and a picture element electrode at high accuracy so that the numerical aperture of the liquid crystal panel is increased and that a liquid crystal display device having high luminance and high precision can be obtd. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device consists of a first substrate 1 and a second substrate 4 facing to each other and a liquid crystal 12 interposed between these substrates. The first substrate has several gate leads and several data leads which cross the gate leads, and picture element electrodes 9 on crosspoints of the gate leads and data leads, and semiconductor elements 15 connected to the picture element electrodes 9. The second substrate 4 has an opposite electrode 13. A light shielding layer 2 is formed on the first substrate 1 to surround the picture element electrodes 9. |
