The cutting device (14) is fitted on a frame (2) and the equipment is pushed against a first tree with both grip tools (3, 4) open. The tree is then clasped by closing the grip tools and cut, after which the equipment is pushed against a fresh tree. For each fresh tree after the first, the lower grip tool is opened for receiving the fresh tree whilst the earlier felled tree is held firmly only by the upper grip tool (3). The lower grip tool is then closed around the three whilst the new tree is pressed against the outside of the upper grip tool. The upper grip tool is then opened and all the trees are then secured by both grip tools. |
