PURPOSE:To form a high sensitive polymer image high in mechanical strength by heat development by containing a polymerizable compound or the like in a polymer layer, silver halide and a base and/or base precursor in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material contains silver halide, a reducing agent, the polymerizable compound or/and a cross-linkable polymer and the base and/or base precursor, the polymer layer and thereupon the photosensitive layer are successively provided on a supporting body, the polymer layer contains the polymerizable compound or/and the cross-linkable compound and the photosensitive layer contains silver halide and the base or/and base precursor. The reducing agent is contained in the photosensitive layer or/and the polymer layer. Thus, the photosensitive material for heat development in which the photosensitive layer is separated from the polymerization layer is obtained. |
