PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of the line, by using commonly fixed-length blocks by sound information and data information. CONSTITUTION:Sound information from transmitter 1 is subjected to A/D conversion in 2 and is not only written to the empty one of sound buffer memories 4a and 4b but also supplied to service deciding circuit 8, and it is decided whether service is present or not under the discrimination timing from clock circuit 15, and the result is reported to operation logic circuit 9. Circuit 9 controls block synchronizing code part generating circuit 11 to transmit clock synchronizing code part F. Continuously, if the service state has been reported, information identification code part V of sound is transmitted from V/D generating circuit 10 after transmitting sound information from one of memories 4a and 4b. When the nonservice state is reported from circuit 8, circuit 9 transmits data information of data buffer memory 7 after transmitting code part F and generates code part D, which indicates data information, from circuit 10 and transmits it to the transmission line. |
