DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING PLURAL LINES

PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time and to simplify the configuration in the data communication system utilizing plural communication lines to send/ receive packets in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Image data (D1, D2...) divided by each equal quantity in a transport layer are given to a network layer. Each data (Dx) is processed into a packet, and it is divided into plural packets ((A1(Dx)-(Am(Dx)) in the network layer. Each packet (Ax(Dx) is given to each data link layer corresponding to plural lines. The received packet (Ax(Dx) in the data link layer is integrated in an information frame and sent in parallel to each physical layer (communication line) corresponding to the plural lines. Each physical layer sends the information frame in parallel from the plural lines. The packets sent from the plural lines are synthesized at a reception station based on identification codes Ax, Bx.
