PURPOSE:To extract required information from a credit card differring the storage position of desired information and to display the extracted information without requiring the judgement of a handling person. CONSTITUTION:An information table storage part 5 stores an information table for storing information showing the storage positions of plural kinds of information to be displayed stored in various credit cards by key codes and credit company codes. An information comparison part 6 compares credit card information read from the credit card by a card reading means 1 with the information in the above-mentioned information table and based on the information in the information table where the key code and the credit company code are coincident, the desired information such as a card name, member's, number and validity or the like is extracted by a display information extraction part 7, edited into a previously decided format by an information output part 8 and displayed by a display part 4. |
