PURPOSE:To improve the communication quality by applying automatic control to transmission power based on line quality information from a communication transmitter-receiver A or other transmitter-receiver B during reception of a common signal from a control station connected by the same supervisory control cable even when a transmitter-receiver B is busy with sound communication with other earth station with respect to the data and sound communication transmitter-receiver sets A, B. CONSTITUTION:All logic sections 18 of data communication transmitter-receiver equipment 5-1, 5-2 and sound communication transmitter-receiver equipment 7-1, 7-2 connecting to the same multi-carrier controller 4 are interconnected by a supervisory control cable 21. When the equipment 7-1 makes sound communication with another earth station, line quality information from the logic section 18 of the equipment 5 or of the equipment 7-2 receiving a common signal from a control station is received. The line quality information is given to the logic section 18 giving a command to a transmission output level control section 19 and the control section 19 controls a transmission power level. Thus, the transmission power is automatically controlled in response to the current status of the satellite line quality to improve the communication quality. |
