PURPOSE:To prevent a crack of a sensor device due to the adhering of exhaust waterdrops thereto and quick cooling thereof, when an oxygen sensor is disposed on the downstream from a catalyst convertor. CONSTITUTION:A protector 15 covering a sensor device made of ceramic is constituted by a dual structure of an inner protector 16 in a cylindrical shape with a bottom and an outer protector 17 in a cylindrical shape. Communication holes 19, 21 respectively opened on the protectors are positioned so as to shift at 45 deg. in the circumference direction each other without overlapping. A bottom edge of a gap 22 formed between them is opened so as to discharge water to the outside. |
