<p>PURPOSE:To deal with both analog and digital input/output signals by performing the digital sampling of analog input signals and the analog conversion of digital input signals. CONSTITUTION:A Y signal 101 being an analog video signal inputted from an input terminal la is given through a low-pass filter 3a to an A/D converter 4a. The output 107 of the A/D converter 4a is given to the first input of an input select circuit 6a, and a Y signal 110 being a digital video signal is inputted from an input terminal 1d, supplied to the second input of the input select circuit 6a through a digital interface circuit 5a. The output of the circuit 6a is given to a coder 7a and the output 119 of the coder 7a is outputted from a terminal 2a as an encoded video signal. The same processing as the Y signals 101 and 111 is performed on Pb signals 102, 111 and Pr signals 103, 112 at the time of their output from the terminal 2a.</p> |
