<p>The edge of a shaped knitted garment panel is formed by dropping one or more stitches from the ends of successive courses, and replacing at least one of dropped stitches by a stitch of an elastic creped yarn of finer denier than the main yarn. Pref. a stitch of the creped yarn is doubled into the last stitch of the main yarn in each course. The edge stitches cannot undo.</p> |
