PURPOSE:To shorten synchronism restoring time by providing dispersedly arranged frame patterns. CONSTITUTION:Frame synchronization restoring time can be shortened by quickly and surely finding out the dispersedly arranged frame patterns 2a, 2b and escaping from erroneous synchronization restoring time by the presence of a pseudo frame pattern at early stages by continuing the detection of the frame pattern 2a or 2b detected first successively until the next frame pattern 2a or 2b is detected within a range of set data length when either the dispersedly arranged frame patterns 2a, 2b is detected when frame synchronization is taken. Also, even when the synchronism detection due to the detection of the pseudo frame pattern is performed by a selector means 30 provided at the outside of the synchronism detecting means 20-1,...,20-n and which makes at least one of synchronism detecting means perform the synchronism detection, at least one of the detecting means outputs a detection result other than the pseudo frame pattern. |
