PURPOSE:To provide a plug socket requiring no extension cord of separate sale by providing a reeling part for reeling and housing a cord inside a plug socket box. CONSTITUTION:A wire passing hole B11 is formed in the rear center of a plug socket box B1 of synthetic resin so as to pass through a cord E. The columns B12 for reeling the cord E are set up in four corners of about the middle between the rear periphery of the plug socket box B1 and the periphery of the wire passing hole B11. The columns B12 are cylindrical and the tips are outwardly bent while the columns B12 are lower than a front open edge B13 of the plug socket box B1. The plug socket box B1 has the engaging recessed parts B14 for mounting a panel B2 in the center of its both sides. A modular jack F is connected to a tip of the cord E. The engaging pieces B22 stand upright in the middle parts of the right and left side of a synthetic resin plate B2 and an engaging claws B23 engages with the recessed part B14 of the box. A flat tip screwdriver is inserted into a notch B24 in order to remove engagement. When the cord does not reach the plug socket B, the front of the modular jack F is pushed to disengage the modular jack F from the step B25 of the panel B2 and to unreel the cord E reeled on the columns 12 for being extended.
