PURPOSE:To provide a coil manufacturing device which is capable of forming an excellent aligned close winding irrespective of the size of an element wire and the types of coating and manufacturing a coil where a winding hardly becomes loose. CONSTITUTION:A rotation volume detector 5 which detects the amount of rotation of a coil former 2 (winding shaft 3) and a movement detector 9 which detects the movement of a element wire 8 are provided. The coil former 2 and an element wire guide 8 are controlled in movement basing on the signals outputted from the rotation volume detector 5 and the movement detector 9 as follows: that is, an element wire guide 8 is made to move along the coil former 2 by the diameter of an element wire 1 to wind a wire 2 on the coil former 2 in an orderly manner each time when the coil former 2 (winding shaft 3) rotates to a certain rotation angle after it rotates once. In this control, the element wire guide 8 is made not to move continuously but to stay still until the coil former 2 rotates to a certain rotation angle, so that the element wire 1 can be straight wound on the coil former 2 and set stable in behavior, consequently a winding on the coil former 2 becomes hardly loose, and thus an excellent aligned close winding can be realized. |
