NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide material for a negative electrode which is high in energy density and free from the occurrence of dendrite in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell containing lithium salt. CONSTITUTION:In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell equipped with a positive electrode 7 having reversibility to charge/discharge, with nonaqueous electrolyte including lithium and with a negative electrode 8, carbon material containing boron is used for the negative electrode 8. In this case, the negative electrode is manufactured by sintering the carbon material containing boron.
