PURPOSE:To enable a position information to be reported to a specific person by processing a signal from a low-trajectory satellite for calculations a current position, referring; to a movement range which is previously set to a movement range setting part, and then transmitting information to the satellite when the current position is out of the movement range. CONSTITUTION:Data of a stop position 7 and that for a radius r within a range where movement is permitted which are set by a user are stored in a movement range setting part 5. An electric wave from a low-trajectory satellite is received by a reception part 1 and the information is processed by an operation processing part for calculating a current position. It is examined by referring to the data at the setting part 5 whether the current position is within a preset specified range or not. When it is within the specified range, no transmission is made. However, when it is out of the set movement range, for example, at a position 8, the calculated position information (latitude, longitude) are transmitted to the satellite via a transmission part 6 regularly, thus making reporting to a specific person. |
