<p>PURPOSE:To share memories, etc., with other microprocessors by incorporating a bus arbitration circuit which functions as an interface circuit and an interface circuit which operate for the input and output of an address bus. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 11 is equipped with a dual-port RAM 12 and a ROM 13, a CPU 14 for control, the bus arbitration circuit 15 which performs bus arbitration for external chips, and the address bus interface circuit and a data bus interface circuit which function as interfaces. When the internal RAM 12 and ROM 13 are accessed, the access is gained through the address bus 201 and a data bus 202. When an external extended memory is accessed, the access is gained through the address bus 201 and data bus 202, the address bus interface circuit 16 and data bus interface circuit 17, etc.</p> |
