A toothed disc for a vehicle-seat adjusting device is produced by a process in which the toothed discs are cut out of a strip of material in a progression die on a fine-blanking machine in a multiplicity of stages, preferably four or more, at least one thickening of the material in the region of the tooth root by more than 1/3 of the thickness of the material being produced by pulling up the material at least in the region of the tooth root and subsequently deforming it back. The problem zones in the region of the tooth root with such toothed discs are thereby eliminated but all criteria as regards overall volume and economical production are still observed. <IMAGE> |
