PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of executing reading operation for setting up various conditions such as original size, editing area detection and exposing condition setting and image formation only by one reading operation. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device 1 has a light source for irradiating an original with light, an optical system for forming an optical image of reflected light from the original, two or more photoelectric conversion parts 48 arranged on separated positions in the 1st direction with an interval in the 2nd direction rectangular to the 1st direction to convert the optical image obtained from the optical system into an electric signal, an A/D conversion part for A/D-converting the electric signal obtained from the conversion parts 48, an image processing part for processing the image signal A/D-converted by the A/D conversion part, an image forming part 8 for forming an image on a medium from the image signal processed by the image processing part, and a control part for controlling respective parts. |
