PURPOSE:To obtain the color image of excellent glossiness, high quality, and excellent preservabe property by setting the softening point of color toner lower than that of resin comprising a thermoplastic transparent resin particle. CONSTITUTION:After a color toner image 2A is formed on a photosensitive body, a resin grain layer is formed in an electrophotographic method, to form a transparent grain layer on the formed image. When the resin grain layer is heated/fixed by belt-like members 8a and 8b, the resin grain layer is melted and an uniform transparent resin layer 2B is formed. When the softening point of the color toner is set lower than that of a resin grain, the color toner is melted faster than the resin grain, and the toner of each color is sufficiently melted and mixed each other, to obtain an excellent color tone. Further, the color toner and the transparent resin layer, have different cross-linking structure and kind of resin, so that they are not melted/mixed, and reduction in reproducibility caused by the spreading of an image in a fixing stage, does not occur. Thus, a high quality color image which is not rugged but smooth, can be formed. |
