PURPOSE:To provide a photosensitive planograhic printing plate unnecessitating damping water which is superior in productivity, economicity, solvent resistance and plate wear by forming a primer layer by irradiating it with specific UV rays. CONSTITUTION:In the photosensitive planographic printing plate unnecessitating damping water which has a primer layer on a supporting body, a photosensitive layer and an ink repelling layer in this order, the primer layer is formed by irradiating it with >=1J/cm<2> UV rays. Namely the primer layer is cured by irradiating it with >=1J/cm<2> UV rays, preferably 1-5J/cm<2>/min. The UV rays mean <=400nm radiant light in the wavelength and any one which UV rays are radiated from as an optical source and >=1J/cm<2>/min irradiation condition can be satisfied, can be used and generally a metal halide lamp, mercury lamp, xenon lamp, carbon arc, plasma ark, etc., are available. In this case the metal lamp or metal halide lamp are preferred to use for this. |
