A rapid fixture for fitting and removing a variety of different tools or tool fixtures 4 on or from a vehicle 2, which rapid fixture is configured such that the tools or the tool fixtures can be fitted and removed very quickly and easily and comprises two main parts, namely a receiver part 1 fixedly mounted on some bearing part of the vehicle 2 and a rapid-coupling part 3, fixedly mounted on the tool or the tool fixture, for connecting and locking the tool or tool fixture 4 to the receiver part 1, and in which the receiver part 1 and the rapid- coupling part 3 are configured firstly with one or more interacting fixing members 9,10,20,21 for fitting the tool or tool fixture 4 in an exactly predetermined position on the vehicle 2 and secondly also with at least one clamping member 24 for clamping together the rapid- coupling part 3 and the receiver part 1 to form a butt- type connection. <IMAGE> |
