<p>In order to provide an exercise device which is of the most simple design, robust and easy to install, for the movement of body parts by overcoming a resistance, it is proposed that two arched brackets (4, 5) fixable on both ends be arranged on either side of a seating or lying surface (1) on a frame (2), for example the frame (2) of a bed (1), a single lockable handle (10) which is longitudinally displaceable on both brackets (4, 5) being provided. The resistance to be overcome during exercise is formed by an elastic element (15), especially a rubber belt (15) which can be releasably fastened on the brackets (4, 5) and/or the handle (10). This allows a large variety of exercises to be completed using different body parts, for example the arms or legs of the individual doing the exercise, especially in a lying position or while seated, mobility exercises being predominant besides training of muscle groups. <IMAGE></p> |
