<p>PURPOSE:To apply a shallow soil-prospecting method and widen its prospect area and enhance its accuracy as well. CONSTITUTION:Small-sized holes 14 are drilled by means of a hydraulic drill or the like in the outer peripheral direction of a face 18 which is an under ground excavated plane. A course of line where vibration receivers 12 are installed at a specified interval is extended to not only the in-face of the face but also to the small-sized holes 14. Vibration sources 10 are laid out at a specified interval along this course of line inside the face 18. Each vibration source 10 generates seismic waves selectively one after another. The seismic waves are reflected on a changed plane of the geological features in front of the face with each vibration receiver 12. A control device 20 stores data of the reflected waves detected with the vibration receivers 12 in a memory device 26 consecutively while an arithmetic operation device 30 reads data equivalent to the same common reflected points out of the stored data. After having obtained the data of the reflected waves through the processing, such as corrections, the control device analyzes the position of the changed plane of the geological features.</p> |
