PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material with excellent long term stability of a color-developed image, especially excellent moisture resistance of the color-developed image by providing a heat-sensitive color developing layer contg. a dye precursor and two color developing agents of each specified formula on a sheet-like substrate. CONSTITUTION:A coating liq. for a heat-sensitive color developing layer is prepd. by mixing and compounding each specified amt. of a colorless or a light-colored dye precursor and compd. of formula I and II (wherein X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; A and B are each a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; R1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group etc.; m is an integer of 1 or larger; R2 is an acetyl group, a nitro group etc.; n is an integer of 1 or larger; Y is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; E and G are each a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; R3 is an alkoxy group etc.; R4 is a nitro group, an alkyl group etc.; q is an integer of 1 or larger) in a dissolved or dispersed soln. of a binder.
