PURPOSE:To utilize remaining toner effectively for curtailing expenditure. CONSTITUTION:A toner remaining quantity detecting section 3 for detecting a predetermined quantity of remaining toner and a paper size sensor 2 for detecting type of paper being printed are provided. A controller 1 calculates the number of papers which can be printed with the remaining toner in accordance with information from the toner remaining quantity detector 3 and the paper size sensor 2 and it is displayed on a number-of-sheets display device of a display device 5. |
