CARCINOSTATIC METHOD AND CARCINOSTATIC AGENT

PURPOSE:To utilize immunological reaction specific for a cancerous antigen produced on the surface of a cancerous cell and carry out carcinostatic treatment by administering a nonclassical histocompatibility class 1 antigen and eliciting the resistance to cancer. CONSTITUTION:A nonclassical histocompatibility class 1 antigen is administered or an antibody capable of recognizing the antigen or a cytotoxic lymphocyte capable of recognizing the antigen is administered. For example, a Qa-2<-> mouse is immunized with a normal lymphocyte of an allogenic Qa-2<+> mouse to cause the resistance to cancer in the Qa-2<-> mouse. The Qa-2<+> mouse is immunized with a Q5 genetic product to induce immunological reaction specific for the Q5 genetic product and elicit the resistance to autocancer.
