The antipyretic analgesic compsn. contains 10-11 wt.% pueraria root, 5.5-6.5 wt.% Glycyrrhiza, 7.5-8.5 wt.% ginger, 0.5-20 wt.% ginseng, 11.5-12.5 wt.% Paeonia lactiflora, 10-11 wt.% Cnidium officinale, etc. The compsn. is prepd. by extracting the crude essence from the herbs with H2O or EtOH and adding at least one auxiliary agent selected from sweeteners, stabilizers, antiseptics or perfuming agents. The compsn. is useful for the treatment of cold, general fatigue, fever and a headache.
