PURPOSE:To efficiently and sanitarily carry out a series of steps such as slicing or transporting of large-sized konjak jelly. CONSTITUTION:Large-sized pieces of konjak jelly 1 are dropped one by one with a damper chute 8 and transferred to a cutting standby position 21. The large-sized pieces of the konjak jelly 1 present on the cutting standby position 21 are then pushed through a push-in member 5 into slicing blades 14 with a push-in cylinder 4 and passed through the slicing blades 14. The resultant plural sliced pieces of the konjak jelly 2 in a transversely arranged state are subsequently housed in a housing box 15 located at a housing standby position 22. The housing box 15 is then rotated 90 deg. and held at a conveying standby position 23 to provide the sliced pieces of the konjak jelly 2 in a vertically arranged state, e.g. a stacked state in the housing box 15. The sliced piece of the konjak jelly 2 in the lowermost stage in the housing box 15 is subsequently ejected through an ejector plate 17 onto a conveyor 3 with an ejector cylinder 16. |
