The mirror assembly (1) drive mechanism (A) is connected to an enclosing fixture (2) on the vehicle body. A "C" shaped movable enclosure (3) joined to the drive (A), carries the mirror. A bellows (6) joined to both enclosures (2,3), covers their junction. A reversible motor (7) and reducing gears (9), drive (A) a leaf spring (11), its other end fixed to the movable enclosure (3). A coupling (4) for the two enclosures carries reinforcing supports (5,5a), top and bottom. A cover (12) my enclose the leaf spring (11) in a groove guide, in which it extends or retracts, deflecting the mirror.
