PURPOSE: To prevent excessive axial force acting on input and output shafts from occurring by forming a roller bearing at the abutting ends of the input and output shaft as a fixed bearing, and fixing the input and output shaft substantially immovable in relative to each other in the direction of the axis of rotation. CONSTITUTION: A main drive shaft 3, a center input shaft 5 and an output shaft 6 are arranged in a gearbox 9. The shaft end 16 of the main drive shaft 3 at the input side receiving engine torque is supported by a radial needle bearing 31, and a radial needle bearing 14 is disposed between the end 16 of the main drive shaft 3 and the end 12 of the abutting input shaft 5. The portion 13 including the opposite end 28 of the input shaft 5 is formed as a hollow shaft 26, which is supported against the front part of the output shaft 6 by a fixed double row radial angular contact ball bearing 15 and a cylindrical roller bearing 27. The ball bearing 15 is arranged at the front end 17 of the output shaft 6, while the cylindrical roller bearing 27 at the rear end 28 of the input shaft 5. |
